Event Descriptions

Introductory Talk: These events provide an introduction to ECKANKAR, and the teachings of the ECK (Holy Spirit). Introductory classes may be a single class or a series of classes, one each week for four to six weeks.

ECK Worship Service: The ECK Worship Service is a one-hour service, focusing on a particular aspect of the teachings of the Light and Sound of God. A typical worship service includes stories, talks, and creative arts.

Book Discussion: This class focuses on one of the books published by ECKANKAR. At each class a chapter, or part of a chapter, will be discussed. Typically, a book discussion class meets once a month for a year.

Roundtable: A discussion centered on a spiritual topic with up to twelve participants.

Seminar: Seminars provide a broad selection of topics and events for chelas (members of ECKANKAR) and seeks alike.  Attendees can choose from workshops, round tables, and talks on various topics.  The length of a seminar may be for a single day or a few days over a weekend.
